   I would get any used car checked over my a good mechanic. Also checked the kelly books to make sure your getting a fair price. I would also do a car fax. I would not buy any used car in which the owner does not have service records. You want to make sure that the car was properly maintained.

   (April, 2009, is the most current one) and scouring its “frequency of repair” records. Make sure the prospective auto purchase has tires as close to new as possible, and all service records–as previously suggested.
